Privacy policy.

The Nurses Book is operated by AVSTE ("we"), which is responsible for the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account and profile: name, email, credentials, specialties, nursing license (country and region), where you live, bio, photo and links you choose to add.
• Applications: resumes and notes you send to employers through quick apply.
• Agency matching ("Let roles find you"): name, email, specialty and license country/region, along with a record of your consent.
• Employers: organization details and job listings. Payment details are collected and stored by Creem, not by us.
• Usage: privacy-friendly analytics (no personal profiles), and clicks on affiliate links.

We never collect patient or protected health information. Please don't include it anywhere on the site.

How we use it

• To run your account, show jobs, and deliver applications to employers you apply to.
• To send job alerts and newsletters you opted into (unsubscribe from any email).
• Sharing with agencies: only if you tick the consent box on our "Let roles find you" form do we share those details with vetted healthcare staffing and travel-nurse agencies, which may contact you about matching roles. They may pay us for these introductions. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share with

Service providers who help us operate: Supabase (database and hosting), Vercel (hosting), Creem (payments, as merchant of record), Resend and Brevo (email), and analytics. Also agencies, only with your consent as above, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell profile data outside the consented matching above.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by emailing hello@thenursesbook.com. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have additional rights, and we honour them for everyone.

Retention and security

We keep data while your account is active and delete it on request, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records). Data is encrypted in transit and protected by access controls.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for login. If enabled, marketing pixels are used only to measure our own advertising.
